How many days are these symptoms now.? High fever with cold can suggest viral infection, for which you have to give symptomatic treatment. Crocin to be given if the fever is mild.Meftal to be used only if the fever is very high. Keep a temperature record. Viral fevers take a few days to recover. If your child is otherwise active , dont worry.

Visit a paediatrician if the fever doesnt show a diwnward trend in 2-3 days, to rule out anything else..

1) dont force feed your child, coz the appetite goes down in viral fevers. 2) Give plenty of liquids, a keep a watch on the urine output...Take care.
