High ESR 69mm/hr
Mother of two. Delivered second baby 6 months back. Last week ESR was 40. Had periods only for 3 days last month, usual cycle 5 days. After 15 days repeat ESR shows 69mm/hr. Noticed little breast milk. Not breast feeding . Left feeding 5 months back. TSH value : 1.16.
Have allergies.
Reason for High ESR value ? Pls help.

Hey there. High ESR means presence of inflammation which can be due to multiple reasons. Since pregnancy is an inflammatory state in itself, ESR can be raised but should come down after delivery. So if it's still high, it needs to be evaluated. Please describe any other symptoms that you have other than this. Also, not breastfeeding is another thing that needs to be evaluated.
