High diastolic pressure at night
I am measuring bp everyday in morning and it is coming as 130/90 or 140/90 in average however at night time the diastolic pressure is becoming 105-106 at night and systolic normal 130-140 at night ..is there any specific reason for this ..I am taking 3 mg oral budesonide (budez CR tablet) in morning since last 1 month for colitis ..is this normal or due to medication or I need hypertension treatment..please suggest

You are suffering from high diastolic pressure in the night. Diastolic means blood return to heart exert high pressure on the wall of blood vessels.
