High Diabetic
This is for my father, He has been going through diabetic issues for the last 7-8 years. But for the last month he stopped eating diabetic medicine ZITA MET PLUS 20/500. Today i tested him for Diabetes, his results are too high.  I have attached the results photo. Kindly tell me what to do to cure him.

Hello there. No need to worry first of all. Do hba1c test. (3 months of average sugar) Than let me know. We can start with insulin if it will be more than 8.5 If it is not than can start with some medicine.. Need some more details. Do consult after hba1c report.

As patient blood sugar level is very high,and his sugar level is high despite taking oral anti diabetic,it is wise to start one long acting insulin along with oral anti diabetic. You should start Lantus insulin at fixed time once a day with upward titration starting with at least 20 unit per day until fasting blood sugar level comes down to
