Hello doctor,
My father is having high blood pressure problem since last 15 days...we have started regular medicine on high BP. Now when we are monitoring his BP is around 130-140. His ECG report is normal. Doctor has suggested to do today echo test..which we will be doing soon. He is having little headache too..i am attaching his lipid report...is headache is due to high blood pressure...

With medicine, goal of BP should be atleast 140/90 or below
Report shows slightly elevated total cholesterol,lower HDL ,and elevated triglycerides.
Assuming the doctor who treats him will determine the risk factors and may put him on lipid lowering medicine after performing echo and reading his lipid results.
Headache in an hypertensive varies.Some people complains of headache at slightest elevation of the BP, where's others ,they remain asymptomatic even with very high BP
