High blood pressure
From Last few days...i was feeling sick...weakness...headache sometimes...when i check my bp...always above 150/ 110...yesterday so i went to the doctor ...he checked my bp ...and my bp was 170/ 110...he prescribed me amlong 5mg (twice) for 5 days...so, how long it takes to effect and this medicine is ok.

Check out ur life style and food habits . Low salt diet and avoid junk food And get proper sleep Few test required Cbc LFT RFT and lipid profile. Then need further work up and management. As per ur query medicine Start working with in 24hr to 72 hours depending on how  body respond. Every one has defferent physiological trigger and response to medicine
