You should use a diet low in salt , fat , oily ,spicy food . Exercise regularly for 35-40 minutes 5 days a week and take the guidance of your physician .

There are better medicines out there.. water soaked with tulasi seeds are good.
Peanut need not be necessarily avoided. Avoid pickles, spicy food and oily food
