U need to get a stool examination because some worms need a special regime of deworming.
Secondly you need to focus on cause like hand hygiene , toilet habits and nail trimming as needed.
Hand hygiene is very important to prevent recurrence and need to treat all family members so that it doesn't spread to others , yes you can and you should give deworming tablet now
Greetings
repeating anthelmintic treatment, treating the entire household, and practicing strict hand hygiene.
It is essential to consult a pediatrician before giving another dose to confirm the type of parasite.
Yes, deworming can be repeated after 3 months if symptoms have recurred. Reinfection is quite common in children.
Along with giving deworming medicine again, focus on prevention:
• regular hand washing
• trimming nails short
• washing fruits/vegetables properly
• avoiding nail biting/thumb sucking
• daily underwear change
• washing bedding/clothes properly
If he has itching around the anus especially at night, disturbed sleep, recurrent abdominal pain, poor appetite, worms visible in stool, or repeated recurrence despite treatment, a pediatric evaluation may help decide whether stool testing or treatment of family members is needed.
Please avoid repeated frequent dosing without medical advice.
