Hi,
Some time back I suffered from severe stomach infection causing loose motion and then due to the medicines once the infection was cured I got Irritable bowel syndrome and hence loose motion for some more time.
During then, I use to feel irritation in my rectum but did not paid any heed to it thinking its due to extreme motions.
But now again for last week or 2 I started feeling irritation in rectum and eventually pain...on checking I figured out the cause to be hemorrhoid.
Now I am confused which specialized field of medicine to consult. Surgeon or Gastroenterologists.
