Helpless and overwhelmed
I m extremely annoyed by myself because I am feeling jealous from my elder sister I hate when my mom starts caring for her and when she gets worried about her life I m so irritated by this act of my mom I can't even help out I also feel bad for her but I feel like she just exaggerated things and my mom start being over protective to her and even I m feeling sad or I have my own problems I don't share it with my mom and I try not to give her more worries because she already have enough because of my sis but then I feel bad that why can't she handle things on her own or why can't my mom get worried about me even I show that every is fine plz anyone can help me feel better I m so worried anxious irritated and helpless

Hi It’s natural to feel jealous and hurt when your mom seems more focused on your sister. You hide your own struggles to protect her, but that makes you feel unseen and unimportant. Remember, your feelings are valid wanting care doesn’t make you selfish. Try expressing small needs to your mom instead of holding back, and remind yourself that your problems matter too.
