Heel spur on left ankle
Hi my wife have heel spur from last 6 months Some time pain is non bearable She is already doing some exercises and apply hot and cold fomentation But not helping What will be the treatment for this

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate your wife in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or  metabolic disorder, if there is any. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Keep no  pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. --. Fomentation with warm water. Basic treatment for this is use of comfortable soft sole footwear , regular physiotherapy (eccentric calf streching) , hot water fomentation. You should use analgesic gel/spray and tablet as required. If this isn't helping you can try steroid/PRP injection.
Next Steps
Do regular physiotherapy and If not improving consult Ortho surgeon.
