Heamoglobin in 8th month
My hb is 10.7 in 33 weeks..Do i need to take iron tablet?? Or can i eat iron rich foods? As iron tablet made constipation n bleeds in anus..if i stop tablet i m completely free from bleeding n no constipation occurs..i took cremaffin while taking iron tablet  bt still i cannot manage..plz suggest

Please take injectable iron after calculation of the dose, this is day care procedure, eat healthy balanced diet green vegetables salads and seasonal fruits avoid pineapple,papya.

Take Iron rich food No need to take tablet Instead take folic acid tablet for proper absorption of your dietary intake of iron

Hi good afternoon Thnxs for your question Congratulations for ur pregnancy. Ur hb is good. But in pregnancy iron supplements is necessary as during delivery bleeding will occur. Try changing the salt of iron or take syrup in place of tablets Syrup Dexorange two spoons three times a day for a month

If still difficult take a course of Injectable iron as Hemoglobin less than 11 is defined as anemia and you are developing complications with oral iron therapy

Get admitted Take Injection Iron Sucrose 200 in 100ml of normal saline over 20 minutes for 4 doses alternate days
