Hi, I am feeling heal pain exactly below the leg bone. Morning less pain but during the day I can't walk for more than 10min. After walking I feel tired muscle in the quadricep and back of both the thighs. I had to stop for some time and walk. When sitting relaxed. Cannot stand for long, bec of heal pain in both legs. Tried soft shoe for few days still not. Started rolling ice bottle under heal, tried epsom slat in hot water and soak. Giving temporary effect. Vit d, B12 are ok. Affecting daily life. Please suggest any test or treatment.

Your symptoms may not be due to heel strain alone. Plantar fasciitis usually causes maximum pain with the first steps in the morning, whereas your pain increases with standing or walking and is associated with fatigue in both thighs. Pain or heaviness in both legs brought on by walking and relieved by sitting can occur with lumbar nerve compression/spinal stenosis. Circulation problems in the legs can also cause exertional pain or muscle fatigue relieved by rest, so both possibilities should be assessed.
Next Steps
Consult an orthopaedic specialist for examination of your lower back, nerves, feet and leg pulses. Depending on the findings, you may require: Weight-bearing foot X-rays MRI of the lumbar spine if nerve compression is suspected Ankle–brachial index or arterial Doppler if circulation is reduced; ABI is a standard initial test for peripheral arterial disease. Meanwhile, use supportive footwear with a cushioned heel or arch support, avoid barefoot walking and prolonged standing, continue ice for 15–20 minutes, and begin supervised calf and plantar-fascia stretching. Physiotherapy can be planned after examination.
Health Tips
Seek urgent medical attention for progressive leg weakness, foot drop, numbness around the genital region, loss of bladder or bowel control, a cold/discoloured foot, non-healing wounds or severe pain occurring even at rest
