Headache when wake up in morning
My wife is suffering from headache since  1+month long time continuously .I consulted to a neurologist and he suggested for blood test and MRI.I skkiped MRI part and gone for blood test only.in blood test report vitamin D was severely low(8 and minimum required was 20).I again visited to Dr and show him the report and he suggested for some vitamin D and calsium capsules for 15 days ..But no help till now she is still suffering.i also would like to mention that she complain  much pain after waking up and pain intensity decreases during day time and then again same intensity when she wake up Please advise what should I do

This kind of headache might be due to lack of sound sleep , sleep apnea,stress, sinus problems , high BP etc.... But to rule out serious causes ... Certain investigation are required.. MRI is one of them. If you actually want to diagnose the exact cause , please follow the advice of your neurologist.. Timely diagnosis is must for proper and effective treatment.

please contact neurologist for through physical check up and needful investigation like MRI
