Head spinning
Hi doctors, I am having head spinning from 1week ..I Am taking stemetil md 5mg but I am still having head spinning, light headed and drowsiness... After taking stemetil md in the afternoon full evening I was feeling drowsy...i don't know what to do plz help

hello, eye check up BP to monitor. Keep youself HYDRATED with plenty of liquids like NIMUPANI, coconut water, mousambi juice, anything you like. You have to take rest after STEMETIL MD. Other wise u feel drowsy. Any tab of spinning cause drowsy unless you take rest. Ok.

Dizziness/Vertigo. Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). SX – vertigo (elicited by specific head movements), dizziness, n/v, nystagmus, ataxia. Meniere – hearing loss, vertigo, tinnitus. PE – CN exam, CN 8 audiology. Dix-Hallpike maneuver (shows classic rotatory nystagmus, positive for BPPV). CT Scan of Head - to rule out any abnormal growth.
Next Steps
DX – • CT, MRI (CN 8).
Health Tips
TX – check meds, decrease Sodium (salt) in diet. Meclizine 25-100 mg/day PO divided BID-TID. Diazepam 2-10 mg PO Q4-8 hrs PRN. Anti-emetic: Promethazine 12.5 - 25 mg PO Q4-6 hours. Scopolamine transdermal patch for motion sickness prevention q3 days PRN.
