Head heat, cold
My baby age is 9months her head is very hot and overall body is cool and she has cold. We used syp febrexplus, nasaldrops, cefdoxime 50mg. But head heat not controlled. Please tell me how to treat

Tell me the weight of your baby, you may not be giving proper dose, mean while do sponging with tap water, you can add syp Ibugesic plus 3.5 ml 8 hourly x 2 days if weight of baby is 7kg

In general,head,palms of hands and soles of feet are warmer than rest of the body at this age,even NORMALLY. Stop ALL meds,just give steam inhalations for cold and cough and decongestant nasal drops for nasal block or increased cough on lying down only. Use paracetamol for fever if required but ONLY after measuring temperature,give if it's 100 or above. If not improving OR accompanied by other symptoms like wheezing sounds in the breathing and breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed,consult your paediatrician asap.

Dont give  anribiotics ie. Cefdoxime  stop it Just  give  cough  and fever medicine  and  one nasal drop Wait for  more 3 days Everything will be fine Head is hot and  body cold  Don't  worry  just  go through these medicine
