Avoid consuming large quantities of Harad as a snack, keep yourself well hydrated, reduce excess salt intake, elevate your legs when resting, walk regularly, and monitor whether the swelling improves after stopping Harad. Persistent swelling of both feet for more than a week deserves medical evaluation because the cause is often unrelated to Harad itself.

“Eating 5–10 Haritaki (Harad/Harde) once or twice daily for taste is not advisable. In excess, it may cause loose motions, dehydration, abdominal discomfort, electrolyte imbalance, weakness and digestive disturbances. However, swelling of the feet and lower legs is not a typical side effect of Haritaki. Persistent leg swelling should be evaluated for causes such as kidney, liver, heart, thyroid or venous circulation problems. I would advise stopping excessive Haritaki intake and getting the swelling assessed. Please consult me with your age, medical history and any recent reports so I can guide you properly.”
