Most common causes would be pyriformis syndrome or sciatica If the pain radiates down to your leg and gets aggravated while walking or bending forward it needs to be evaluated further

Hip pain with difficulty in walking can come from soft tissues around the hip or wear and tear in hip joint.. Also radiating pain can arise from your spine and mimic the same.. That needs proper evaluation for adequate diagnosis and treatment!
