Having high CRP level
My brother was suffering from knee joint effusion. Earlier he had gone through all the essential blood test including CRP and it was 44.0 mg/dL while he was having so much pain in his knee that he was unable to walk especially in up and downstairs. Now the synovial fluid has been removed from knee joints and he is on medication. He is quite relieved and don't feel the same intensity of pain as he earlier used to be. But recently he did CRP test again and the level has increased instead of decreasing and it is now 47.0 mg/dL. Just want to ask, is this the alarming sign that might lead to cancer?
