Hello all,
My son is 6.5years old and had slight fever kind 99.7 today evening and gave paracetamol syrup. My fear is my husband had fever from 27th dec and was diagnosed with measles on 3rd jan. But son had minimal contact with him as he stayed in grandmother home. He got his mmr shot, could this fever be due to measles? What are the chances he can get even after having vaccination.

There is a small chance that it might be measles. But it is likely to be very mild measles as he has taken MMR vaccine. Watch for rashes and red eyes or fever continuing. Visit a pediatrician for check up.
