Hairfall and scalp pimple
Hello Doctor,
I have been experiencing hair fall recently and noticed a small red bump/pimple on my scalp with slight redness and irritation. There is also some flaking/dandruff visible around the scalp area. I have attached a photo for reference.
My concerns are:
Could this scalp issue be causing my hair fall?
Is this scalp acne, folliculitis, or some infection?

Seems like itching, has caused a wound on the scalp.
Do NOT scratch it further.
Use salicylic acid / coal tar / ketoconazole based shampoos to keep dandruff at bay.
Once dandruff settles, the hairfall will reduce gradually.
