Hi. You are suffering from acute telogen effluvium. This occurs usually two to three months after an illness like dengue, typhoid etc. This may continue for a few days to weeks. The hair usually come back and grow normally after this episode. If very severe or persisting for longer duration, it may be worthwhile visiting a qualified dermatologist. Maintain a healthy diet with vegetables, fruits and proteins. Avoid harsh shampoos and avoid shampooing daily. Let me know if you need any further assistance in this regard. Take care.
