Hair Loss - Bald Patch
I see sudden bald patches in my head. I'm currently taking iron and calcium supplements as per my gynec advice. Is this a temporary phase or would this require a treatment? I'm a second time mother - 70 days postpartum.

Hair fall is common in post partum phase due to decline in blood estrogen levels and increased nutritional requirement of body which is sometimes not met with. This hair fall will get reduced over next few months at its own but taking some “right supplements” under guidance of any hair treatment centre will be useful. This will help in preventing further hair and recovery of hairs that you have lost in last few months. This will also take care of your stress ( if any) associated with significant hair fall.
Next Steps
Take good nutritional support suggested by your gynaecologist or Pediatrician. Add nutrition supplements specific for hairs.
Health Tips
Specific hair supplements will not have any side effect on you or lactating baby. In fact they will be beneficial to both of you.
