I had stomach pain whenever I ate something, so I consulted a doctor. After an endoscopy, I was diagnosed with an H. pylori infection. I completed a 15-day antibiotic course and continue taking some prescribed medicines. Currently, my diet is limited to curd, rice, and vegetable soup. While I usually don’t feel pain, I occasionally experience discomfort on an empty stomach.
I’m concerned if the infection is still present or if there’s another issue. Also, my weight dropped from 70 kg to 60 kg within a month. Is this due to my diet or something else? How can I be 100% sure that the infection is fully cured?
