Hi Doctor,
I'm hypothyroid women, aged 28 years. Thyroid value is in limit currently, where I take 50mcg dose daily.
I'm recently married and trying to conceive. Please let me know whether I can take Covid-19 vaccine? Will I have any other side affects because of that vaccine?

Get your vaccine shot of 2 doses and then start planning for pregnancy after 3 months. Then at that time you can start taking folic acid supplement and also get your tsh level re- checked. Target is 2.5 mcg if you are planning.

You can take vaccine first, no side effects, even pregnant women can take vaccine so no need worry about it,
you must maintain TSH within normal range for good fertility and to prevent any birth defects.
