I have been having frequent spoting since last 2 month (FYI not pregnant), having pelvic pain, and pain with discomfort in right lower abdomen. The cycles last 5 days with flow equivalent to nothing (same as spotting). What could be possible reasons and should I get any tests done?

Yes u definitely need to be investigated Exercise if ur overweight that is an important reason fr a scanty flow Get ur Thyroid n prolactin levels checked Also an ultrasound pelvis is required Meet a dr in person fr a papsmear after bleeding stops n Perspeclum examination to rule out erosion cervix or a polyp

Hi Yes u need to do certain tests and clinical vaginal examination will be required too Visit a local gynecologist as this requires examination
