Does the xray reveal that decay is deep? If so, you would require root canal treatment. Or if there is a pocket that can also cause swelling. Do visit your dentist

Might be due to food lodgement. Visit your dentist.

Antibiotics are administered to provide a coverage before any procedure, they do not cure any dental infection which is bound to reappear after the antibiotic course is over if the objective treatment is not done. Correlating your description with your age, it is likely that the wisdom tooth that was removed had caused cavity on tooth number 7 also and in many such cases tooth number 7 usually requires root canal treatment after the extraction of wisdom tooth is done. An x-ray will reveal the depth of the cavity in that tooth so that the right treatment option can be planned. Regards.
