Gum recession caused by moderate force while brushing can potentially be stopped or slowed down by adopting proper brushing techniques and using a soft-bristled toothbrush. However, once gum tissue is lost, it cannot be fully restored to its original state. The height of gums that has been lost due to aggressive brushing cannot be completely reversed. It's essential to be gentle while brushing to avoid further damage to the gums. If you have concerns about gum recession or any other oral health issues, I recommend consulting with a dentist or periodontist who can evaluate your specific situation and provide appropriate guidance and treatment options.

In earlier stages of gum recession,  it can be taken care by maintaining proper oral hygiene. Warm saline rinses thrice a day. Visit a local dentist for physical evaluation and treatment (if required).

I think you are asking if gum recession can be reversed. If so here is your answer- Minor gum recession reverses itself on removal of the causative factor. However if you see gum recession and as you said it's due to brushing, it has likely affected your tooth too, which will not reverse itself.
