My gum is paining and cheek is swollen. Can you prescribe a medicine that I can sleep tonight. Have an appointment with the dentist tonight.

Take an over the counter available pain killer like IMol plus for pain . Use some warm water with salt rinsing which can help to reduce the swelling. Don't consume antibiotics until you check with a dentist .
