Gum is swollen and while on pressing blood s coming  ..Visited a dr ...she cleaned the mouth and told had a gum infection When it will get alright... Now face is little swelling Anything to worry Please help

Hello Gum infection or gingival inflammation causes bleeding in gums while brushing or even pressing with fingers There is nothing to worry

Hello.Hi. After cleaning of it takes time to heal .5-7days. If bleeding gums persistent take full mouth xray to evaluate any deep gum infections. Best treatmens are there for gum infections.

if it is due to plaque and calculus … swelling will reduce eventually after proper cleaning.. need to check the pocket depth if deep cleaning or flap is required in case… if swelling has come up to the face then get an x-ray done to check any other underlying cause

If swelling has reached till the face there is severe infection due to tooth decay, trauma or wisdom tooth eruption.

After cleaning/ scaling of teeth, swelling of gums should have decreased.
