Go for scaling and polishing. Nothing can cure gums except scaling. Halitosis and loosening of teeth are common problems Or complications.

Basic treatment of gum disease is cleaning called as Scaling and oral prophylaxis. If gum disease still persists then gum surgery known as flap surgery is required in few cases. Once thorough oral prophylaxis is done and oral hygiene is maintained there are chances of gums healing well. Complications of untreated gum disease are bone loss around the teeth, bleeding gums, receding gums and mobility of teeth.
