Granulomatous mastitis
Hello, my friend ( 33 years) has been diagnosed with granulomatous mastitis & she has been prescribed antibiotics & ibuprofen initially. She has not been fully recovered yet after receiving that Rx ( since last 4 months) & still have pain, inflammation & sinus formation at the site. She discussed the same with several professionals who then prescribed omnacortil tab with methotrexate bt hasn't started these medicines yet. What is best for her? Plz guide.

When was the biopsy taken? Has size reduced or is it still the same or increasing? Even after 4 months of antibiotics if the infection didn't subside you would need further evaluation. Better to consult a surgeon in person .
