Grade 2 ACL tear

Asked for Male, 22 Years

My right knee was injured by a road accident over two months ago . MRI report revealed that 1. Grade 2 ACL tear. 2.Tibio femoral condylar marrow edema 3.Intra-&peri-articular fluid. Is any surgery necessary ? If it is then how much urgent is it ?
