Gout is not curable. Basic cause is deficiency of an enzyme in the body which supposedly helps excrete excess uric acid from the body. You will have to refrain from high/binge protein intake and take medicines regularly. The excess uric acid starts getting deposited in joints and eventually causes gouty arthritis in the long run. Better keep your levels under control. Ull be able to lead an absolutely normal life with regular medication. consult your orthopedic
