Hi,
I'm suffering lower back pain with specific sitting positions and gluete pain even during sleeping. Following are the MRI report.
Lumbar canal AP diameter at L1 to L5 levels:
L1-L2 17.6mm
L2-L3 17.5mm
L3-L4 16.4mm
L4-L5 15.3mm
L5-S1 12.3mm
The spinal cord, conus medullaris and the sub arachnoid space are normal.
One month back , had one other MRI and its report as below.
The bony spinal canal diameter measures:Level Mm
L1-L2 15.0
L2-L3 15.5
L3-L4 14.1
L4-L5 12.9
L5-S1 11.2

We need to examine clinically and then correlate that with MRI
As per you have mentioned, there is reduced canal diameter at L5-S1 and that suggests of Lumbar Canal stenosis
