Glucosamine hydrochloride is generally safe for people with prediabetes when taken in recommended doses. It does not significantly raise blood sugar levels in most studies. You can continue it, but keep monitoring your fasting sugar and HbA1c every few months. Maintain a healthy diet and regular exercise to keep sugars in control.
Hope this helps ☺️
Hi glucosamine doesn’t raise blood sugars , but as your hba1 c is in prediabetic range routine monitoring of blood sugars every 3 to 6 months , along with life style modifications which are must… strength training exercises in conjunction with a physiotherapist, healthy diet , avoid saturated fats fried and oily foods and avoiding added sugars in diet.
