Giving cow milk
My daughter is going to be a month of in 2 days. I have been only breastfeeding and not giving anything else to the baby. As per some ritual, the elders want to offer a drop of cow milk to the baby. However doctor had advised earlier, nothing other than breast milk should be given to the baby until 6 months. Is it safe to give a drop of cow milk to the baby now? Please advise.

If it is just a drop of cow's milk for a ritual and it is a one time event ,then no harm ,provided it is properly sterilised.
