I am having a problem with Gum receeding. My gums are getting disappeared. I consulted a doctor and he told me to do scaling but still it is getting receeding. Any idea what shoud i Do

Scaling is a procedure to remove the deposits called as calculus from the teeth. These deposits cannot be removed by toothbrushing and need professional cleaning. These deposits are the reason for gum inflammation and gum recession. In the process of scaling we improve gum health which slows down the further gum recession but drastic reversal of the recession that has already happened cannot be expected. Maintain oral hygiene by the technique advised by your dentist for better gum health in the future. Go for a regular check up and scaling can be repeated once every year for as per the requirement.
