Care AI Shimmer
Two days of running nose, cough, body soreness and now high fever reads like a viral upper respiratory infection - flu-type illness this season. Antibiotics do nothing here in the first few days.
Next Steps
Paracetamol 650 mg up to three times a day for fever and body ache, cetirizine at night, steam, and plenty of fluids. If fever crosses day 4-5, get CBC with dengue, malaria and typhoid tests done. Breathlessness, chest pain, vomiting everything or fever above 103 that will not come down means see someone in person the same day. Message me on a Practo consult and I'll prescribe properly.
