Thank you for asking. Your symptoms are suggestive of Depression. Let us know what exactly is depression? and more about your complaints. Depression is a psychological condition characterised by- Persistent LOW MOOD, irritability, loosing cool on minor provocations, etc. REDUCED ENERGY LEVELS, decreased interest in pleasurable activities which can clinically present as not feeling to do anything, not feeling to talk with anyone, tiredness on minor exertion, fatigue, etc. GUILT, holding oneself responsible for situation, not able to enjoy, reduced appetite, etc. WORRYING, tension in body, unable to relax and therefore consequently symptom of pain in body, headache can result. These are few cardinal symptoms of depression which I can see in your case. Again, as it being a psychological condition any sort of mental stress can cause a depression or aggravate it. If there is a history of such a stress, it is further supportive to the diagnosis. For confirmation and proper establishment of a diagnosis a psychiatric consultation and work up is must. However, in my opinion a depressive condition is appears most likely. Coming to the management part. It is completely curable. In your case (? mild depression) therapy sessions of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) can work well. If required, few medications can also be started for couple of months. If not addressed timely, it can worsen and progress to more a severe condition with suicidal thoughts. Hope you find it helpful. Welcome for further queries. Regards
