Hi
You should give a minimum half an hour gap after food for drinking water. And for the GERD I would tell you to meet me for a one to one counselling session so that I can help you better. I cannot help you here without knowing your diet schedule, time schedule and whole medical history.
If you wanna discuss further you can opt for a personal chat option
Meet a Dietician/Nutritionist for counseling session
