Hospital staff given me gentamicin direct iv in  left hand since then I have burning sensation in left neck, ear, and hand 4 hrs finished. What is needed to be done?

Please stay within hospital under observation. Report the issue to the Hospital head. Let a Physician observe you until tomorrow morning. Watch out for urine output.

Gentamicin has to b given v slowly and only for serious bacterial infections not resolved by other antibiotics Why are you getting it clarify Have you taken previously also Has side effects can cause nerve problems and ear problems You probably getting that only So do not take any further now and report to the person giving you ASAP
