Genital warts
I have some warts on the opening of vaginal canal. It's on the inside but not really inside the canal just at the opening, inside the lips. I've been getting treatment for genital warts since April for the outside ones with chemical treatment by doc and they always came back they are now gone with imiquoid cream at last. but recently discovered the inner ones in August. Doc applied chemical treatment but they came back in 2-3 weeks. What should I do? I've completed 2 doses of gardisal 9.I'm not sexually active. I had only one sexual encounter last year June. I'm applying imiquoid for them to but I've not seen any changes. I've just applied it 4 times . I've gotten checked for STD. It's negative so my warts are caused by HPV . Is there any permanent solution?

Yes Vaginal warts caused by the
Human Papilloma Virus ( HPV) which remains in the body even after visible warts are removed.
Treatment can Successfully eliminate the physical warts but the Virus can still cause new
Warts to appear later.

Genital warts can recur because HPV may remain in the skin, so there is no instant permanent cure, but they are treatable. Do not apply imiquimod inside the vagina unless a gynaecologist has specifically prescribed it; internal lesions need examination and appropriate treatment such as cryotherapy or cautery. The vaccine prevents new HPV infections but does not remove existing warts, and at 22 you may need the complete recommended schedule.
