I need to know that could genetic diseases be prevented to pass on ? I suffer from autoimmune disease alopecia and my partner's family has diabetes running in their genes (she doesn't has it). What are the chances that these diseases could be prevented to pass on before pregnancy. What are the methods to do that?

You can't prevent genetic diseases from passing on to offspring. Alopecia is a autoimmune disease not genetic disease.
If both the parents are diabetic then 50 % chances that your offsprings may get diabetes and if only one partner is diabetes then 25%chances are there.
