Hello doctors, Is there any difference between generic medicines and normal (prescribed brand's) medicines. Why some people deny to take generic medicines?

There is lot of difference in the cost. So many top Pharma Companies in India have their Generic Division. So their medicines meet all standards.

Yes, there is difference of 80;20. Due to restrictions of cost because of government policy, profit margins very less, so honesty is not possible.

Hello, yes there are differences between the two. Mainly differs in quality, adverse effects, flavours etc. though both work the same.
