General query
Doctor, I’ve been experiencing irritation and itching around the skin/fold near my anus for the past several days. I’m not sure what could be causing it. It isn’t clearly visible when I look normally, but when I gently spread the area, I can see what looks like some kind of skin irritation or possible infection. Could you please advise me on what this might be and what I should do? If you recommend any cream or ointment, please let me know which one would be appropriate.

Can have several causes contact dermatitis, fungal infection, hemorrhoids or other conditions. It is difficult to identify the cause without examining or a picture of the area. Please consult me for a proper assessment. I can examine the symptoms history and then advise the appropriate treatment or cream rather than starting medication blindly.

Its more likely due to fungal infection. Apply BNC gel on affected area and use warm water for bathing upto 4 days.its due to excessive sweating  in that area.and moisture causes fungal growth easily.
