From your history (which is very limited), your might be suffering from GERD. Now, you can take Syr. Gelusil MPS 2 tbsp 30 mins after each meal for 3 or 4 days. But this will reoccur if you don't keep a healthy diet and sleeping habits. To avoid gastric reflux, especially at night time: 1. It's always better to go to bed atleast 2-3 hours after dinner ( having it around 7-8 pm is better, if you are a person who sleeps at around 10 pm) 2. Try to avoid spicy and oily food for dinner especially 3. Always try to keep the head end of your bed elevated to atleast 6 to 8 inches ( try keeping a block of cement or wood under the cot, if you are a person who doesn't want to use a pillow) 4. Try to sleep on left lateral position. 5. Try to reduce weight if you are obese.
Health Tips
If you still having symptoms and is disturbing your sleep, even after following all these, it's better to consult a Gastroenterologist and get an OGD scope done.

You are experiencing burning sensation and gastric discomfort (pitta) at night, which leads to disturbed sleep. Likely Cause: Acid reflux or gastric hyperacidity, which is quite common and often related to lifestyle, food habits, or stress. Recommendations: 1. Lifestyle Tips: • Have early dinner, at least 2–3 hours before sleeping. • Eat light meals at night — avoid spicy, oily, and fried foods. • Avoid lying down immediately after eating. • Raise the head of your bed slightly or use 1–2 pillows while sleeping. • Avoid smoking, alcohol, and stress. • Lose weight if you are overweight, as it can increase pressure on the stomach. 2. Diet Suggestions: Avoid: • Tea, coffee, chocolate • Carbonated drinks • Citrus fruits like oranges and lemons • Tomatoes and spicy curries Include: • Cold milk or plain curd • Banana, oats, boiled vegetables • Fennel seed (saunf) or cumin (jeera) water after 3. Medical Advice: For medicine advice, please contact me or consult a qualified doctor. Do not self-medicate. (WhatsApp Nine Four One zero six nine four three four three)

. Dear Patient,  Your symptoms of **burning sensation, gastric issues (pitta), and sleep disturbances** at night are likely due to **acid reflux or gastritis**, which can worsen with dietary habits, stress, or irregular meal timings. Here’s my advice:  1. Immediate Measures:     - Avoid spicy, fried, and acidic foods.     - Limit tea/coffee, especially at night.     - Have dinner 2-3 hours before bedtime.     - Elevate your head while sleeping to reduce reflux.  2. Medication (Short-term):    - Take a proton pump inhibitor (like Pantoprazole 40mg)on an empty stomach for 10-14 days.  3. Lifestyle Changes:     - Practice stress management (yoga/meditation).     - Maintain a regular sleep schedule.  However, **self-medication is not advisable**. Your symptoms require a proper evaluation to rule out conditions like **GERD, H. pylori infection, or peptic ulcers**.  Consult me for a detailed assessment and personalized treatment plan.** You can reach me on WhatsApp at **Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two** for an appointment.

Do you burp often, do you drink alcohol? Burning sensation and gastric pain often diagnosed as gerd, avoid alcohol if you consume or chewing tobacco or pan and other spicy foods. Sleep on left lateral position. Antacid and drug will be prescribed if you consult.
