23 mm is a large stone. Gall bladder needs to be removed as new stones keep on forming. And to avoid complications.

Ofcourse laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the treatment, prior to surgery an upper GI Scopy is recommended to understand all symptoms and document the pre-op findings...
