She has unfortunately been diagnosed with an INCIDENTAL GALLBLADDER CANCER. Since this is a chance finding, the surgery done would have been incomplete as required for cancer. The most appropriate next step would be a completion surgery as would be done for cancer.

We should complete the surgery for gallbladder cancer. Simple cholecystectomy is not a complete surgery for gallbladder cancer. We also have to remove other lymph nodes in the adjoining area so that nothing is left inside the body.
Next Steps
Should go for whole body scan, and consult a surgical oncologist for completing the surgery
Health Tips
Do not leave the patient in this stage. There is a high chance that cancer can come back if the surgery is not properly done and then he should also go for oral tablet chemotherapy.
