You can have almost all fruits and vegetables which are seasonally available. Include sago milk twice a day. Include almond, chia seeds, flax seeds in your diet. This is very good for milk production and you won't feel weak. Also include pomegranate and guava as well

There are many misconceptions about eating certain foods during and after pregnancy. I am sorry to hear you have still recovering from the delivery process. Lactating mother's diet is very important because the nutrition of mother's milk will be the only nutrition for the baby. If you avoid certain foods then definitely the quality of milk produced will be of low nutrition. You need to eat well for yourself and baby. If you do not have any medical issues and are otherwise healthy you can eat any fruit and vegetable you like. Just keep in mind that there are 5 food groups and you should consume from eat food group. Here is what I advice feeding mothers: 1. Eat before feeding your baby. Healthy snacks like paneer veg chapati roll and one apple or bread sandwich with sprouts tikki and vegetables or you can munch on any stir fried vegetables with paneer 2. Add milk and shatavari Kalp in your diet 3. You can add ebible gum and dry fruits laddu if fresh fruits are problem at home 4. Eat every 3 hrs without fail. 5. Add mother's horlicks or some supplement to your milk along with shatavari Kalp 6. Add nuts like badam, cashewnut, groundnuts as snacks 7. Boiled sprouts sundal a South Indian snack will help you increase hemoglobin level 8. Add drumstick leaves powder to your diet 9. Pomogranate beet root juice will also help in increasing hemoglobin in vegetarians
Next Steps
Eat without fear. And consult a Dietitian along with your family to indirectly explain them about food myths
Health Tips
Be bold to express your needs. Take support from your friends and husband and eat. Do not restrict anything!! For sake of the baby...
